When Adam and Harriet officially started planning the biggest day of their lives one of their key decisions was where to have their wedding. They were looking for a destination and venue which was personal and intimate, but spectacular and memorable too.
Bamburgh Castle on the wild Northumberland Coast was the first venue choice because of Adam’s childhood roots, with the The Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst being second as Adam was completing his training there.
Finally though, Adam & Harriet realised that Chamonix was in fact the perfect choice for their wedding day; the place where Harriet had spent much of her childhood & more importantly where Adam had proposed the previous year.
The couple’s next challenge was when to set the all important date? With Harriet living between both France & the UK and Adam training to become a 2nd Lieutenant at Sandhurst, their schedule was incredibly tight. So much so they decided to schedule their wedding just days after celebrating Adam’s “Passing Out” at Sandhurst and just before his shipment a week afterwards.
Nonetheless, their day was nothing short of being absolutely beautiful, and together with their closest friends & family was relaxed & filled with love, laughter and much merriment.
A nostalgic highlight for the happy couple was revisiting the spot where Adam had proposed, and with Mont Blanc as our magnificent backdrop it was literally the perfect ending to a wonderful day. It was an absolute pleausre to be the destination wedding photographer on this very special day.
Congratulations again to you both and wishing you a lifetime of happiness and good fortune together as husband and wife x
